  • About Community Action of Skagit County

Our Energy Assistance Program is currently scheduling appointments daily for Seniors ages 60 years and older. If you are under the age of 60 you may call or go online to your PSE account and schedule an appointment on the First Wednesday of each month starting on November 4, 2020, from 8:30 Am - 5:00 PM or until schedule is full. If you are not a PSE customer or have no way to apply online you may call (360) 428-1011 to schedule your Energy Assistance appointment. ◦If you already have an appointment scheduled, please do NOT come to the agency for scheduled appointments, but rather complete applications by phone at your scheduled appointment time. An Energy Staff member will call you at your phone number listed and complete your application with you over phone. If you do not get a phone call at scheduled time please be patient as we may be running late from prior appointment. If you have not received a call from our intake worker and you had a scheduled appointment please call 360-428-1011. If you need information on Energy Assistance please call 360-428-1011. If you are having difficulty with getting through on our phone line please email us at energy@communityactionskagit.org To make the process faster this year we will be requiring all documentation to be submitted to the intake worker prior to your appointment date and time. You may submit documents by mail, email, or dropping off at the office through the walk-up window. If we do not get your documents prior to your scheduled appointment time you will need to reschedule your appointment on our next scheduling day.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
